Dr Rano Bhadoria

Qualifications: MBBS, FRCPSYCH, GMC NUMBER 6028740

After completing her degree in Medicine at Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2001, Rano specialised in Psychiatry at Nottingham and Leeds. She qualified as a General Adult and Liaison Psychiatrist during this time. She has been a Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS since 2010 and held several senior leadership/managerial positions during this time. She was appointed Associate Medical Director at a local NHS trust in 2019. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal college of Psychiatrists in 2020. Rano is also currently involved with training medical students/doctors and other mental health professionals in the trust. She is a passionate and eloquent speaker and has recently been actively running training workshops on Leadership Development skills and Women’s Health outside her role as an NHS Consultant.

She strongly believes in addressing issues from the perspective of a holistic/biopsychosocial model so alongside developing expertise in the latest medical treatments to treat mental illnesses, she has spent a large amount of her career training in several therapies and coaching methods such as Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also currently completing her accreditation in Lifestyle Medicine.

She is passionate about improving Women’s Health across the board and is currently involved with developing and running a successful lifestyle project for locally in Sutton Coldfield.
